Apache 1.3.27

Apache is unquestionably the World's most popular and tested web server. Apache (1.3.x) comes installed on every Mac with the introduction of Mac OS X. However, we have enabled more features (such as mod_perl) than Apple's build of Apache 1.3.x, and to make sure every thing works seamlessly, we built our OpenDB CD based on our builds of Apache.

Apache can be controlled with your Sharing System Preferences (see right). Our Apache 1.3.27 installation will overwrite the standard Mac OS X installation of Apache - enabling more features.

We have included Webmin for a graphical user interface for configuring and controlling (among a long list of other services) your Apache server(s).

The OpenDB CD will install Apache (1.3.27) configured with the following modules:
