Follow these simple steps to use "OpenOSX Grass" fully configured for "Quantum GIS" (QGIS):

1. Aquire our "OpenOSX Pro" or our FREE "OpenOSX Grass" and the FREE QGIS

2. Drag “OpenOSX™ Grass” to the location of your choice (see the included ReadMe for more information)

3. You may drag “Quatum GIS” (QGIS) to the location of your choice, however, it is recommend that you install QGIS to your Applications folder otherwise when you first start QGIS from GRASS you will be prompted to locate your QGIS application and subsequently if it is moved or otherwise cannot be located

4. Start “OpenOSX™ Grass” (double-click on the application you dragged per step 1) see the included ReadMe for more information

5. To launch QGIS, at the GRASS prompt in the Terminal application type or paste:

qgis

Followed by the Return key:

Start QGIS from OpenOSX Grass Terminal

6. Quantum GIS should then launch. If “OpenOSX™ Grass” cannot locate QGIS (see step 3), you will be prompted to locate the QGIS application.

7. In QGIS, choose the "Plugin Manager" from the Plugins menu.
