OpenOSX: OpenWeb 3.0: Apache Tomcat with mod

Apache Tomcat (4.1.31) with mod_jk (1.2.4)

Tomcat allows your Mac to serve Java Servlet and JavaServer Pages that implement the Servlet 2.3 and JSP 1.2 specifications.

We have built and included mod_jk for 2.0.54; so you may access JSPs and servlets directly through Apache, without the need to use a port such as Tomcat's default port 8080. The need to use such an obscure port ruins even the best domain name! For example, both of these URL's will execute the same JSP:

http://MyDomain:8080/myservlet.jsp

http://MyDomain/myservlet.jsp

This was a much requested feature with our previous versions of the OpenWeb product.
