Boot FreeDOS

After the "c.ddimg" file is finished being created, locate the "c.ddimg" file with the "Choose Disk C..." or type in the field next to the button:

~/c.ddimg


In the "Choose Floppy A..." field, specify the FreeDOS.img file that you (should have) downloaded from step 1 by typing in the field next to the "Choose Floppy A..." button:

~/FreeDOS.ddimg


Now that we have our boot floppy image and disk C image selected, we are ready to start the emulator. Click on the "Start 586 Emulator" button (or just hit return). Notice that we have all of the default "Emulator Options" selected.
 

Welcome to FreeDOS!

Note that after you start the MacBochs 586 Emulator, the WinTel window is still in the foreground. You must click in the "MacBochs 586" window in order to activate it.
