Run FDISK

After the command prompt please type:

fdisk

FDISK does a great deal more then we will use it for in this tutorial. To go into the program in depth is beyond the scope of this tutorial.
 
Accept the default value (create DOS partition), just hit return.
Accept the default value (Create Primary DOS Partition). Simply hit return.
Type "Y".
