After you have clicked the "power icon" to "shut down" the emulator, start the emulator again by clicking on the "Start 586 Emulator" in WinTel.

Don't forget to activate the "MacBochs 586" window.

Choose "2. Boot from CD-ROM" again, folowed by option "2" on the next screen to enable CD-ROM support.

At the prompt please type:

d:
cd win98
format c:

The Format program will issue a warning that all data will be lost. That's fine, because we do not have any data on our WinTel Hard Disk Image yet. Hit "Y" to continue. Optionally enter a volume label (name).

Congratulations! Your disk image is now formatted and usable.
